The Scottish Council of Independent Schools (ºÚ¹Ï³ÔÁÏÍø) is an educational charity representing and promoting the interests of 72 independent schools across the country.
ºÚ¹Ï³ÔÁÏÍø provides independent schools with advice and assistance on all aspects of educational policy and the advancement of education.
ºÚ¹Ï³ÔÁÏÍø promotes choice, diversity and excellence in Scottish education as well as offering professional learning opportunities to staff from across the sector.

Aims
- to advance education through our contribution to curriculum development, the training of teachers and partnership work with the state sector
- to engage with the Scottish Parliament, the Scottish Government, and public and private bodies on behalf of the independent sector
- to advise member schools and their governing bodies on educational developments and legislation affecting independent schools
